Achieve Perfect End Grain Cuts!

I bought this sled after searching for some safer ways to cope rails after lacerations in 2 fingers and a partial 5th digit amputation. I wasn’t looking for a better, faster, easier way to cope rails, but with this, I found it anyway. This sled makes it nearly impossible for injury due to accidents like kickback. –Shaun

Why Buy the Rail Coping Sled for Router Table

✅ Precision Cuts: This is a tool designed to provide precision and stability when making end grain cuts for door and drawer fronts. Holds rails firmly at a perfect 90-degree angle to the router table fence, ensuring clean and square cuts. It accommodates stock up to 5” wide and 1 ¼” thick, and comes with full instructions for ease of use.

✅ Stability and Safety: Prevents stock from dipping or pushing too far, particularly beneficial for narrow rails used in drawer fronts. Keeps hands away from the cutting area, reducing the risk of injury.

✅ Time Saving: Uses the fence as a reference for parallel alignment with the router table fence, saving adjustment time, and features a clear acrylic fence raised 2” above the base to prevent cutting into the sled.

📝 HOW TO USE THIS?

  1. Make sure that the sled base is parallel to the router table fence

  2. Set the fixed fence to precisely 90 degrees before routing.

  3. Lock down the fence and start routing.

Saved my hand

I bought this sled after searching for some safer ways to cope rails, after lacerations in 2 fingers and a partial 5th digit amputation. A piece I was running through got hung up on something, pulling my hand across the fence and bit. I wasn’t looking for a better, faster, easier way to cope rails, but with this, I found it anyway. This sled makes it nearly impossible for injury due to accidents like kickback.

Great sled

This worked perfect for making my cabinet doors. I tried to make one without it and the end grain router for the cabinet rail was sketchy and sloppy, this allowed for a perfect and repeatable process!!! So easy I accidently router some of my stile’s.

Top quality

I needed a coping sled for end cuts on a couple of replacement boards I am making for a Seeburg jukebox. This was the least expensive option I could find that seemed solid. And it is! Easy to assemble, good directions. For this trepid amateur wood worker this turned out to be a solid tool and easy tool to use. This coping sled very firmly holds a board in place and is intuitive to use making these vital end cuts a breeze. I highly recommend this product.
