Since using this tool, my trim has work finally exceeded my expectations. If you do a lot of trim, this is a no-brainer.

A Complete Game Changer Accessory

If you're on the fence about buying this..do it! I have to say, this is one of the best tools I've ever bought. Coping molding has always been a nightmare job for me. This accessory was a game-changer for me. Creates perfect copes in minimal time. If you keep the blade cutting along the paint line of the molding, you'll have minimal filing to do. And it's fun. A homeowner DYI hacker like myself can turn out perfect cuts without the hours of practice necessary with a coping saw.

Game Changer

I would preface this review, that I am not a professional, but I do prefer professional-level tools, and that work quality is based on your level of skill with the the tools used, and no tool can replace a competent user. That all being said this is a much faster, easier, and more user-friendly way to cope with molding joints. I had struggled with achieving the correct back cut on crown molding with a hand-coping saw leaving my practice joints inadequate. The speed is which I can cut with the coping foot is much faster with a greater level of control over the blade leaving less filing. The shape of the foot provides a great reference to ensure an adequate back-cut. The time that I am going to save makes this accessory worth every penny.

No shim needed

Wish I would have bought this long ago. Makes coping so much easier with cleaner cuts. You do not need the included shims with the DCS335. Also, I found using a dab of AC glue and a 7/16 open end wrench much easier to install the nut than the suggested needle nose pliers. Love it👍

I purchased this coping foot and the Bosch JS470EB jig saw to cope 7" MDF cove crown. If you are serious about learning to cope using this foot with a jig saw and are willing to be patient and practice, the price of this foot is the value of a lifetime.
