The guide wire is a great design addition to the vacuum hose attachment. I used them to clean HVAC air duct vents in my house. The small diameter of the hose attachment and the guide wire help tremendously in reaching deep into the air duct vents. I clean out all sorts of dust balls, knick-knacks, trash from home remodeling, etc. I could also attach microfiber air duct mini-duster clothes to the guide wire to clean the walls of the air duct. Highly recommend this product for HVAC air duct vent cleaning.

Really pulled the lint up from under the removable lint catcher. Easy to use. The small hose did clog a few times with the bigger chunks of lint, but it worked well.
