A: No, it does not use batteries or solar power. It works through temperature changes. When it gets hot, gas pressure inside the cylinder pushes the rod out to open the window. When it cools, the rod goes back in to close the window.

Q: What if the window opener doesn’t work after installation?
A: Check if it’s installed correctly. If not, follow the instructions again. If the cylinder is stuck, apply oil to the thread and move it manually. If it still doesn’t work, chill it in the fridge for 30 minutes, then place it in warm water. If the rod moves, reinstall it. If not, the cylinder may be damaged.
