Q: Will this work on aluminum or fiberglass tanks?
A: It will work on aluminum tanks, but you need to get a special mounting collar since the magnets won't stick to aluminum. It will not work on fiberglass tanks, and if your tank is double-walled, it will also not work. The reason is that any air will destroy the ultrasonic signal.
