The pump installed easily on the hot water outlet side of the hot water heater.
My daughter had one installed at her place last year and we really liked that when you turned the water on you had hot water right away. Her bathroom was so far from the hot water tank located in the garage. It has a timer on so you can set it for the hours you want it to recirculate. I liked it so much that when I moved back home, I bought one for myself. It is easy to install.
