Q: Will this clear a frozen condensation drain line out of a freezer?
A: Yes, as long as you can insert this tool into the frozen drain line, you should be able to thaw it out. It may take several attempts with hot water due to the length of the line and/or the size of the blockage.
Q: Does this work for the ice maker water line too?
A: This could unfreeze a frozen ice maker line but you would need to do some disassembly on your fridge to locate the frozen section. It’s a bit more work to resolve a frozen ice maker problem.
Q: Can I just use this to clean my water line? It's not frozen.
A: Yes, you can certainly use it to clean your water line! We suggest using a mix of distilled vinegar and water to clean the line. Simply inject 3-4 syringes full of the mixture into your water line. Then flush it with running water for 20-30 seconds, and you’re done!
