Keep Your Keys Safe 🔑👌

It is very easy to set it for whatever number you want. I didn't want to fasten it to the house nor the front door, so this one is hooked on a small (heavy) metal table on the front porch, which you can't see until you are actually on the porch. Works for me and is an added sense of security as I live by myself.

Super handy

I can't tell you how many times I've locked myself out of my place in NYC - usually while running to do laundry at the corner laundromat, or when changing purses! I wanted to keep a hidden key handy, and now have this locked onto the back door doorknob! Keeps my key safe (I've never trusted the "keep it under a flowerpot" trick), and it's great to direct my mom or husband to it when they also inevitably lock themselves out of the house.

Great for emergencies

If you live alone and cannot reach the door to let help in, like EMS, you need one of these. You stick a copy of your house keys in, set a 4 digit code and hang this by the long and strong hasp somewhere within the reach of people who are trying to help you.

Worth the money

I have used one just like this for many, many years, where I keep a spare key outside. It finally did get rusty and was more difficult for me to open. I purchased this one to replace the other one. I find it is easy to read the numbers when unlocking the box. And I like the ease of selecting the code numbers, moving the numbers when accessing the spare key. And it is easy for my older hands to get the compartment opened, also.

5 Stars

I used to have the fixed lock-box, but with so many short term rentals relying on these - I don't want to advertise my house as a rental. Anyone cruising down the street looking for an easy target would know that the fixed lockbox means - 'short term rental here, maybe empty or tourists with lots of nice stuff to steal'.
So I changed to this version that I can just attach on the day of arrival - or even a few hours before guests flight arrives. This minimizes the chance that the house becomes a target.
