I do not have time to shred every piece of mail I get. However, I also do not need my private out for anyone to look at. This is old-school, but it is still a wonderful way to protect my privacy. It’s fast to roll this over my info in the paper and it's convenient. It also comes with lots of extra ink if it runs out. Takes up no space as it’s very nice perfect for a desk drawer.
It does the job for me. The ink is dark enough to cover private information. It "almost" works on all paper textures. Different paper textures yield different results. For one type of paper (plain white) it'll take one swipe. For other types of paper (glossy) it'll take two-three swipes
